Using Twitter for marketing

OK, I've found some great Twitter stuff over the weekend...

Twitter can be a really powerful tool in your marketing... Check this video out first...

And then forget about using Twitter in the IM niche (unless that's your bag)... think about using it in your own niches... to find like minded people... people you can emphasise with... people you can target...

# 1 - register an account on Twitter

# 2 - go to http://search.twitter.com to find people with similar interests, i.e. pet lovers

# 3 - Once you have found people who are interested in the same thing... click on their followers then begin to follow them...many will reciprocate... YOU start to build a following.

# 4 - If you have a blog register with http://www.twitterfeed.com/ and get your latest blog posts updated automatically as Tweets on your Twit bit.

Flock To This Now!

Hey, this could be old news to some and I’ve been meaning to try this out for months now…

It’s a web browser called ‘Flock’…you nay have noticed that the posts Thad puts up on the ANC blog are tagged ‘Blogged with the Flock Browser’

So, this is a little test for me…

I’m posting this from within Flock itself to two of my blogs… at the same time.

You can do the same with Social Bookmarking sites!

Like anything ‘new’ it takes a bit of getting used to but so far I like what I see.

Legally 'Steal' Website / Blog Content!

Hi,

Lots of complaints in the forums at the moment about people stealing articles, lenses, blog posts, even entire websites. NOT GOOD!

But there is a way to do it legitimately and ethically. And not only does it help you but it also helps the person you are 'stealing' from...

It's all about RSS Feeds and Java scripts. Oooo! Sounds a bit technical, right?

Well, it's dead easy. Here's a video taster...
